They call us Mutts; a term once used to describe a dog of multiple breeds.
A harmless term once... But not anymore.
The term hasn't been harmless in nearly 200+years.
Not since the first of us stepped forward.

"What is it? My gift I mean?" I ask her.
A small sigh leaves her as she turns in her seat to face me, a half smile pulling at her lips as she looks at me.
"Its best you don't know just yet," she tells me.
"But..".
"I wish to tell you, but once you know then they will know, and once that happens they'll make sure you never see daylight again".
"Is it really that bad?" I ask, worry running through my veins.
"No" she replies with a knowing smile, her eyes twinkling as she looks at me. "Its that good".

Maybe Too Protective
We reached the hospital and Ryder, still being gentle, jumped out of the car. Zach opened the doors for him and they rushed inside the emergency room. "We need a little help." Max asked the nurse at the table. SHe seemed a little bit annoyed. "Sir this is the trauma center. If you have an emergency that can wait...Oh my gosh." She spoke once she looked at me. "Dr!" She looked at a blonde woman walking by. "Yes?" The woman walked over with a smile on her face. The nurse pointed at me. "Over here." She lead the guys to a hospital bed that they laid me down. "If it means anything, she has panic attacks." Ryder explained. "Page Shepard." She told someone. "What's her name?" "Lucy." Ryder told them. Then, light people around me became blurs, than darkness. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Maybe you had some high school bullies, but I hope they weren't like Lucy Smith's bullies. Lucy Smith is entering into her first year of high school, going to school with her best friend and four out of her five older, protective brothers. Being part of the Smith family gives her some different effects on the the guys around her and some people don't take too kindly to that. When she runs into Miley, her physically tormenting bully who has serve anger issues, things don't take turns for the better. Thank you to the covers app and the Color Pop phone app for the cover. We don't get that kind of recognition at the camps. There, we are only one thing in the military's eyes. We are weapons and we will act like it. Everyone else out there, bathing in the goodness they don't know they've got, they don't know about the roaches their stepping on. As long as their getting closer to the sky, they don't care what they stand on to reach it. They don't know about the sparkling dreamer that's killed 7 people before her 17th birthday. They don't about the ghost of a girl peaking around corners for her entire life because even home wasn't safe. They don't know about the fighter of steel and iron sucking on his bloody lip courtesy of the wars he battles in as nothing but a shadow. They don't know about the masked villain who would do anything to see the army they lead claim the throne They don't know about us. But they will, because we will rise. Just a little bit will make you paralize , a little more will make you pass out, and a lot more will kill you. People see her as darkness for she is a serpent a serpent like one of that tricked Eve to eating the forbidden fruit. Now Muffy is always being mistaken for a vampire. She has been a prisoner of hunters for about a year ,When one night she finally escapes. Now the hunters are after her. Fear is an all too consuming emotion that causes people and animals to do things that are unpredictable! Whether it be to fight for their life, or to high tail it out of there, both are reflexes that define who you are, and both play a key role in the supernatural world! What kind of person... Or wolf are you? Originally, I wrote a story about a she-wolf becoming targeted but it didn't take the turn I wanted so it went bye-bye... I've been holding onto this... I'm not exactly sure how well it is, but I will try to self edit to the best of my abilities! If this launches... If y'all wanna read more, then I will have more of the story ready but for now... (Currently being rewritten under a new name The Claimed) Everything changed when they came out of hiding, terror spread across the world as people began to question if our presidents and our global leaders lied to us and weren't from the same race. The Beasts blended in amongst us as if we were the same, except humans didn't have the same predatory instincts and we couldn't change our forms like they could. Soon after we learnt that we weren't the only species people began going missing. Some were unlucky and taken as something that the Beasts called a Mate that one word made fear spread throughout my veins, I would rather sell my soul than have one of them mutts chain me to them. Six months went by before the government, that was un-tainted by this vile race began to take action into their own hands contacting other countries and militaries causing the great war to happen, sending both my parents off to fight for our rights. Only one of them came back, two months was the longest we lasted before we were overpowered by them. Six years of living in this dysfunctional environment and my hatred had never dwindled. Some people still believed in god and had faith in him, I didn't know what I believed in but I prayed like everyone else that I would get through another day without hearing the soul crushing word 'Mate'. Once fully transformed the Moon Goddess will choose if she will be for the light or dark. Almost every Demon wolf has been chosen for the light, but forces like Rouges, evil witches and Vampires can interfere and change this. This has only happened once. The last Demon wolf was chosen for the dark, which meant that rouges and other evil creatures were free to roam the Earth, killing and attacking humans, Werewolf's and other supernatural species. The high elders called it the Dark Days. North knew she was a Demon wolf, due to her early shifting and her short temper, red eyes, long fangs, etc. Although, she never knew what it meant to be one though. Hello Humans (and Others), Changelings are rare creatures. Beautiful, mysterious, deadly, and a lot of other cool descriptive words that I just don't have the time to think of right now. If you don't know what a changeling is, then look it up. Or don't, it doesn't really matter to me. The descriptions in old Irish folklore aren't really true, anyway. (The Irish drink a lot, so I've heard. My best advice is to take their stories with a grain of salt). I know precisely what a changeling is, because I am one. Yes, I am a changeling, not a wolf. I am not a wolf shifter even though that is who I live with... now. Alive. Remember that. It's a long story, but so worth it. Because it's about me; the beautiful, mysterious, deadly... Remi has always loved the forest, the different sounds, smells, the way she could get lost in it and never have to go home to her non-existent parents. She goes in and out of her life with her best friend everyday just waiting until they're both old enough to leave their small boring town. But one day Remi is attacked, and nearly killed, by a man in the forest. When she wakes up everything's different. She feels something inside her, a power, but she has no idea what happened to her. All she remembers is the man's strange yellow eyes. When three new boys show up at her school, one with yellow eyes, asking her question she gets nervous.
