In this non-cliche WW story, Darrell-a scrawny, un-athletic, wimpy, dork-is the alpha-to-be.  And Darrell doesn't want to be alpha.  Why?  Here's a list:
-He has to keep peace between his pack and other packs
-He's responsible for everything that each pack member does, especially the wrongs
-He can't give orders
-He's extremely weak
-And on-top of that, Darrell still can't morph into a full wolf yet
