Greetings dear readers! This is my first ever poems book. And um I wrote these all based on my personal experiences. As you may journey through chapters of this book based on my life and events throughout. A little sprinkle of the chapters are fictional but nearly all are non-fiction straight from reality. H x The main theme of this book is the macabre and horror. Some of the poems are inspired by horror movies that carry an age 15 rating. There are also some poems touching upon anxiety issues. If you feel you would be upset by reading anything of this nature, then I would advise that this collection may not be for you. Although, for others, it may be of interest, to see another persons experience of this. I will leave the choice up to you. Whilst there is nothing particularly graphic in here, there are scary themes and also some darker themes. There are also some scary images along with the horror themed poems. Abroad
The purpose of this poetry book is one of defiance. Not to others, or anything in particular. It is against the war we wage internally, against ourselves every day. There is no bigger challenge in life than facing your thoughts, your true emotions, your feelings when you lie alone at night by yourself, cornered. We tend to postpone them, shelf them, as we grow accustomed to our daily activities, never giving ourselves a chance to evaluate ourselves. Who are we? what do we lack? what do we need? In this book, I took it upon myself to air out all of my grievances, my intimate thoughts, my happiness, my disappointments, my sadness all out in the open, for all to see. I wanted to face it all. LIFES LONELY ROAD A Poetry Collection Each poem in "Life's Lonely Road" has it's own unique theme based on one of life's many lessons that we all come to learn through our many experiences and dealings. I try my best to capture these in a creative way that is melodious and entertaining while staying true to the fashion of poetry and it's rhythmic nature, During the day were confronted with one situation after another, but sadly there are very few people that delve beneath the surface in search for a rhyme or a reason such things happen, but for those of us few that do, we are presented with an unimaginable insight and understand to lifes inner workings, a perspective that very few people are able to see, disect, and understand as it pertains to life in general let alone their own.
