Yui Kaen. A sixteen year old girl who lives out on the streets with her eight year old sister, Akai Kaen. They're watching the pro-bending finales, the Fire Ferrets against the Wolf Bats. But when Amon attacks, Yui tells Akai to go hide somewhere safe, and oh so conveniently, she hides up in the attic, of Bolin and Mako's apartment. Yui was a special type of bender though, she was close to Avatar Korra when they where young, but when her parents disowned her, nine year old Yui took her one year old sister, and stowed away on a ship to Republic City. She was a lot like Korra, she was a bender of three of the four elements; water, fire and air.

But when Amon attacks, Yui goes after him, and she doesn't come back. When the boys are packing up on the day they're moving out, Pabbu runs up to the second level of their old apartment and to a closet. The boys and Korra look in there and find a young girl. Akai recognizes Korra and hugs her, and tells her about Yui, and why she was in the closet. Korra and the boys are filled with a determination to find Korra's long lost friend. But what happens when they find out that Amon CAPTURED Yui. And isn't planning on letting her go so easily? What will the gang of friends do? And will Yui be saved from the grasp of Amon?
