The year is 4002. After the Great War between Humans and the Giant Aliens in the year 3022, humans were almost extinct. As punishment for the Humans actions, the Aliens turned them into babies. The Aliens told the Humans, "If you act like children we'll treat you as one." Humans are kept in facilities till the age of eighteen. From there they're taken to a hospital where they receive a regression shot essentially making them toddlers. The zombie apocalypse started in April. Hannah couldn't fathom how she was able to remember something so irrelevant, although when she has over a year of isolation from any other living human being it's startling as to how much detail and information one person can manage to reminisce.
