"Hey-" he starts to say with a mischievous grin on his face.
I stick my hand out in his face and smile. "I've already heard that one before." I say.

His friends burst out laughing causing him to blush a little.
"Well your a-"

I smirk. "Heard that one too." I say enjoying this slightly. Anger builds up quickly in his eyes.

He goes to speak but I cut him off by shoving past him and into the school building. He watched me with a shocked expression as if nobody has ever treated him like this before. Well, hun, rejection is real.

"Grayson, what are you doing?" I asked, slowly, walking into his house. He was sitting on a bar stool in the kitchen, facing the view of the city lights. Grayson was surrounded by open bottles of beers and alcohol. When he turned around, I did what most people wouldn't do, I looked directly into his eyes. His eyes were like a book, telling a story to ones who dared to look at them. Hurt, confusion, and sadness written all over his drooping, bloodshot eyes. He didn't answer me, making me step closer to him, "You okay?" I asked. "Yeah," he whispered with the rare smile I've seen only a few times through the time I've known him. Though this one is different. It was depressing. "No, you're not." He sighed. He didn't say anything back, but we both knew what he was going to say. He knew what he was feeling right now, even though he wasn't sober. He knew. "I wanna fix you." I whispered, shocking myself. His smile vanished, almost immediately. He looked away from me, his eyes back to the city lights, "Me too."He whispered. *•*•*•* Stereotypes shape today's society, especially with Grayson Watts. He's the schools bad boy, making girls go all over him, but I, Bailey Winters, or so I thought. I'm the girl that's usually too busy reading and doing homework than to go out and stalk guys. Somehow, Grayson and I cross paths and something about me made us become close enough to be called, 'friends.' With our new found friendship, I learned that bad boys, too, could be broken. "What the hell did you do!?" I heard a feminine voice behind me. I groaned and turned around to meet a very angry face. I have never seen a girl this pissed before and honestly speaking, I am a little bit afraid. "She knew what she was getting into. Everyone knows I am player and I never stick to one girl." I shrugged and turned around to walk away. I didn't even take one step when I felt a firm hand on my t-shirt. She took a fist full of my shirt and turned me around so I was facing her. She then held my collar. Damn, she is almost the same height as me and if I would have been any normal guy, I would be terrified of her. "You don't treat girls like trash, asshole. She has feelings, she is not some toy that you got bored from after playing for a while. Apologize to her." She said through gritted teeth pointing towards Leah who was crying her eyes out. I noticed the crowd that started forming around us. I shrugged her hand away from my t-shirt and glared at her. "I will not apologize to anyone." I said slowly through gritted teeth. She is starting to piss me off. No one clashes me and no one stands against me. Even though I am new here, everyone knows that. I saw her eyes go blank and before I could duck, her fist made contact with my face and I felt sharp pain coursing through my nose. I held my nose tight and felt warm liquid flowing to my lips. Olivia Claire is a 16 year old high scholar. She is a fighter who never took anyone's shit and is famous for it. She mostly minds her own business occasionally helping people that might need her. Carter Grayson is a 16 year old guy recently transferred to Olivia's high school. Tall, handsome guy with lean figure, hazel eyes, brown hair and smile to die for. He has been known to be a player in his last high school and he plans on continuing that identity. So, what happens when a typical bad boy clashes with a not-so-nerd bad girl.

I walk out my dorm building to the cafe. Just as I'm about to open the door I hear a person call out my name. I turn around to see the person jogging towards me. Hey that person kind of looks like Jase. Wait a minute... That is Jase. "Jase?!" I ask. "What the hell is wrong with you? Why would you just leave and not tell anyone?! And do you honestly think I wouldn't follow you?" Jase says. I don't answer I just stand there like an idiot with wide eyes and an open mouth. Shock takes over my body and I begin to feel sick. I left my hometown two days ago and traveled almost 8 states away. But standing right here in front of me is the person that I was running away from. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ #54 in Chicklit **WON WATTIES RETRY AWARDS!!** *****Current Cover by @writersblock924***** *****Previous Cover by @LuminouslySkyler ***** *****Banner made by @writersblock924 :) Go check out @RoyalCourtAwards Graphic Shop to get your own banners and covers!!!***** First published March 27th, 2013
