Chris just moved to Chicago from his hometown in Virginia. He is starting a new life for the three years of high school he has left. A girl named Brooke loves her friends so much that she doesn't realize they set her up with someone horrible for her, his name is Johnathan. Chris and Brooke take no classes together. Little does she know, he is inspired by her. He wrote songs before but now the songs are about her. He loves her. Brooke is with Johnathan so he doesn't have a chance with her, or does he? What happens when she finds out about Chris's songs or when she finds out her best friend Ka'Cee and fake friend Daisya set her up with no good Johnathan? Will everything go as planned? Will everything be destroyed? How long will it take for Chris to show his real feelings to Brooke? What happens when Johnathan finds out about everything?

It's the first day of June's senior year and everything is already going wrong.
