It seems like things have finally calmed down in the Johto region. With Arceus tamed, and Team Rocket going into hiding once more, Silver should finally be able to relax. And yet, something doesn't seem right. Like there's just one more thing he has to do, and it's got nothing to do with his father. Does it have to do with himself, or an old enemy? Perhaps it has something to do with the one person who's been constantly looking out for him, ever since they met up again. With all the odd things that have begun to happen around Jhoto now, will things ever go back to the way they were? Real question is... does he really want things that way?

(A/N: A Specialjewelshipping fanfic to be worked on. Also has some Heartsoulshipping. Can one even call it that, since its in manga? Whatever. Spe!Lyra involved. I've been calling it Brokenheartshipping lately, since it's manga-verse and not game-verse, just so there would be no confusion.)

It's horrible to don a mask. Most wear some kind of mask in their life--and for the most part, they're never of the best quality. All they cause is useless self-destruction and pain, but the good thing about them is that they can hide some ugly part of you that you don't want to show to the world. They're always a step down from what you think they'd be, always a notch lower than expectations, and always a lie to hide from the reality around us. ...of course, there are those that can see through those masks too, and it's supposed that Arceus created these humans to keep the world's sanity. That's all Avis wishes for, because it's nearly impossible to find any semblance of peace in this midst of war and chaos. To him, that's staying alone; staying out of others' business, and for the first seventeen years of his life, he's done that pretty well. § Avis can only hide in the shadow of his twin brother's strength, stranded in a country ravaged by war and destruction--and he tries to live his life in the darkness peacefully. He doesn't need to be noticed by everyone. The illusion of a functional, ideal life, however, is shattered when his family's balance is destroyed, and he thus dons his first mask. § For all his life, Avis had been taught that disaster was bad. For the most part, he's believed that much--he only needs to think of ungraceful piles of debris and blood-caked grounds to be convinced of that. At eighteen, he finds himself starting to doubt it--just a little. He can hate disaster for tearing his life to pieces, but he can't quite hate it for granting him something better than a miracle. § Tonight, these children don their masks.

Since the beginning of time, people and Pokemon have lived in peace in harmony coexisting with one another for years. The Legendary and Mythical Pokemon had watch over the world of Pokemon for a long time and gotten used to the peace, they felt like humans don't need them or their human partners, the Kiseki bloodline. But all of that has change when AZ used the ultimate weapon to end the Kalos war. Years later Lysandre decides to conquered the world using the energy of Pokemon, even Mega Evolution and the power of Legendary and Mythical Pokemon of the world. In a last-ditch effort to make sure that someone will save the world, Mew convinces Arceus chooses Light Kiseki to be the Chosen One that will stop Lysandre's crazy plan when Light was just born, before going into hiding with the other Legendary and Mythical Pokemon. However he didn't anticipate that years later, Light, a recent Lumiose Academy graduate and avid reader who was born with the ability to understand Pokemon, doesn't want anything to do with Pokemon, more so ever since his father's disappearance and Dark bullying him for years. But he is forced to go on a journey when his friends bring him along for said journey. With a Froakie, a Pokemon his father originally was going to give him, the two of them make new friends and foes on their way to being the best of the best. What will happen on his journey? Will Light finally find out what happened to his father? Why does Lysandre and Malva takes an interest to Serena, Dark, Light and their Pokemon team? Disclaimer: I do not own Pokemon or anything related to them, they belong to Nintendo, Game Freak Inc. and the Pokemon Company. The only thing I own in this story are the characters which is the Kiseki bloodline, Light Kiseki and Dark Kuragari, my OC for this fanfic and the character arcs for the characters and the story elements in this fanfic. Pokémon Red (Book 2) by Gaidaros

This is the second installment in the 'Pokémon Red' series. Red, a 10-year-old Pokémon Trainer, after rejecting the oppurtunity to become the Viridian City Gym Leader must continue his quest of becoming a Pokémon Master to the Johto Region. Here he will be met with similar challenges, mainly - Team Rocket. Frequently Asked Questions: Q - This book has a crossover? A - The book crosses over with @Bossun24 's Pokemon Leaf Chronicles for 6 chapters. The crossover had been planned 1 year prior to its publishing. Q - Why is Leaf replaced by Lyra? A - Leaf is not replaced by Lyra, both characters are different in their own ways. I wanted to get Leaf out of the picture for a different kind of character growth. Lyra is Red's cousin sister, with Red being an experienced trainer, he acts like a mentor to her. Q - So time travel happens in this one? A - It does, and its fun how it plays out. Q - Who is this Masked Man? There was a masked man in the manga too. A - While the idea was original, a mystery man who structures every Team Rocket plan and assists Giovanni. I was shocked to see that the manga had someone named "Masked Man" as well. Q - Who is this Masked Man? And why is he important? A - A mystery man controlling every aspect of a criminal organisation and has been the true mastermind of Giovanni's every plan? Sounds pretty important to me. As for his identity, I was very unsure if I was ever going to reveal it as it was not very important at first until the second book was coming to an end.
