Taka, an Apocalypse survivor, stumbles upon a young homeless woman named Alex and saves her life. With no other logical choice, as well as the unavoidable curiosity she had, Alex stays with Taka. They learn about one another, venting things they hadn't been able to speak of for years to an all but perfect stranger in a few short days. Alex soon feels something stronger than friendship for the widower, but his grief years after his wife's death stunts Alex's pursuit. Will Alex guide Taka to happiness while stranding herself in sorrow, or will they survive together, becoming closer than they ever thought they could be...?
