Sort of Like A Fairytale

Hallie Bennette was your typical teenager living with her older sister in the city of New York, trying to work her way into her dream college of arts to play and study the piano. She lands a gig playing the piano at a fancy ball thrown by the royal family of Donovans, the rulers of the country of Beckingland. When 19 year old Cooper Donovan, the soon-to-be king living in his perfect older brother's royal shadow, decides that the life of royalty and elegance isn't the life for him, plans to resign from the family royalty when he turns 20. To appear like he could be just as perfect as his older brother and live perfectly fine on his own, he 'hires' Hallie to pose as his fake girlfriend for a year. As long as he has a girlfriend, he will escape the arranged-marriage and life being set up for him, in return for Hallie, Cooper promises to pay for Hallie's art college when she returns to the United States.
But how long can Hallie handle living in such royalty with the rebellious, arrogant Prince Cooper as her boss and roommate? How can the two opposites convince the royal family, and the rest of the world, that they are helplessly in love, without actually falling for each other?
