Ashtyn has always had an easy and carefree life, but that all changed once she discovered she was being stalked by a man who worked at her school. She told her parents immediately and they moved from Texas to New York. But that didn't solve the issue. The stalker followed them and ending up killing Ashtyn's parents. Every since the 8th grade she was raised by her older brother and her best friend Alexi's parents. Letting her parents death get to her, Ashtyn failed multiple grades including college. Now she is sharing an apartment with Alexi and working at the Gramercy Tavern (In New York) to try and pay the rent. Ashtyn and Alexi get a letter from their landlord saying they must pay rent within a week or else they'll get kicked out.
