There is a boy that has a normal life in 4th grade. His name is Matt. When he was young his parents died in a car accident. He was the only survivor. His uncle that he thinks is the "BEST UNCLE EVER" takes care of him. One day some bullies in his school beats him up after school. Matt tries to avoid telling his uncle but his uncle still finds out. One day Matt suddenly realizes that he has strange powers. He can read people's minds. Then he meets this nice girl named Valerie. They have the same birthday date. They become good friends. Valerie is a strong, pretty, brave and smart girl in the story. When Matt is in trouble or needs help, Valerie helps him. Soon, Matt finds out that Val has super powers too! Then, they enter a world full of super heroes. (including them,) They meet BATMAN!!!! Batman is there mentor. Then, all the super heroes are captured. It's up to Matt and Val to save them. Can they do it?

The protagonist deals with real life struggles every day, including the death of his friend, his dad who left him at an early age, and the pain of seeing his little sister being hurt by her boyfriend. He also has to take charge and become a hero for those who can't against an unwavering bully in a far-away world. My book blends fiction with reality, as the reader follows along in the life of a shy high school student who gets thrown into many situations he must overcome as he finds out who he truly is and why it is him who needs to save the world, while keeping the reader guessing every step of the way.Concluida
