Like plenty of eighteen year-olds in the world, Jenna just wants to fit in with everybody. She's never had that many friends, but she has enough to not be lonely. Jenna just desires to 'go with the flow' and be like everybody else, but she finds herself to be one of those typical kids under peer pressure.
When Jenna receives a full-ride scholarship to Carnegie Mellon University, she becomes a victim of bullying as she tries to blend in. But then, Eleanor Calder, a new transfer student, arrives to put Jenna out of her agony of being isolated from society. When Eleanor’s boyfriend, Louis, and Louis’ best buds arrive at Carnegie Mellon for a visit, Jenna is thrown into their elite circle, causing her to become uneasy with receiving more attention than she had ever desired.
Eventually, Jenna realizes how important it is to be your own special self, but by the time she notices, it could too late for her to change her ways. With the help of her willing friends, and especially one specific guy, Jenna might be able to switch her path and not ‘go with the flow’, but instead just go in her own one direction.
