Aria Davids lives out in the country far from any other people. She has been homeschooled her whole life and has never made any friends except for her Clydesdale horse, Apollo. Now, her parents decide that she should spend her junior and senior year in an actual high school. She's a little scared and sad that she won't be able to spend a lot of time with Apollo.
This all changed, however, when a neighbor named Luke ran into their farm. He promised her that if she would teach him how to ride a horse, he would help her in high school. Because of this, she calls him The Guide.

This horse was very special and came into Sara's life for a reason. This horse teaches Sara the true meaning of friendship. This story is definitely one you want to read and it can even teach you some life lessons. Some of these things actually relates to my life. Obviously I never randomly encountered a horse but I do love horses and I hope to have one soon. I also get bullied very badly. This book is in 1st person and I definitely think you should read it. My face lit up like a Christmas tree and I was truly surprised. "Okay, let's go." * There are a few rules when it comes to ditching class. Rule number one: Don't tell anyone. The teachers, your siblings, your parents. Rule number two: If anybody asks where you were, always say you were sick and rule number three is to have fun. Louisa Shepard didn't know what she was getting into when she agreed to ditch school with Liam Gilbert, her host brother. Rose thinks she can beat them, so Rose challenges her and tells her that she can beat her, so they make a deal, but the one think Rose didn't think of was that she stopped ridding because of her mom's accident and that means she has to get back on a horse. At first she doesn't think she can until a beautiful grayish white mustang comes to her dad's farm, who Rose names later as Stardust. Rose finally realizes that she can do this alone, she's going to need help from her father to help her get back on and also have help from the new cute boy, Austin who's helping for his community service. At first he doesn't want to be there, but eventually finds a reason to stay. Rose has had a good life up until the day of the accident, but now she's got to face loss, and heartbreak, but she's got to learn to get back in the race. This story holds romance, family, trust, understanding the past, and conquering your fears. *Read to find out more, I know it may sound boring from the description, but it's really not.
