Emma Swan and Killian Jones grew up in the same foster system together. They'd both been there nearly their entire lives, always the ones that never got picked... always the ones that got sent back. They'd grown close over the years, Emma especially taking a liking to Killian. But jeopardizing the only friendship she'd ever had? That didn't sound like the best idea to her.
