Greyson Adams is a 17 year old murderer. Well, at least everyone else thinks she is. No-one believes her when she tries to tell them she's innocent. She was framed, and has absolutely no proof that it wasn't her. Now, she's locked up in the Youth Asylum, or the YA. Her parents won't visit her, and her best friend can't even walk past her house. 

When she meets a boy about her age in the Asylum, they quickly form a strong bond. They each have secrets, but some are darker then others. When she finds out that Jaxon has a girlfriend back home, she's quite upset, but she soon realizes that he has no idea what's really going on.
