Going into her senior year, she planned on keeping her head down and avoid all problems. But, her enemy of 2 years, Jackson Costra, had other plans. Being her brother Brooks' best friend, Delilah never got a break from the torture Jackson put on her. Ever since she can remember, they have been playing this hating game. Della had no idea why he started hating her, but she played along, until she realized the boy had a deeper meaning for his anger that was bigger than her completely. | Jackson Costra grew up in the most powerful and influential mafia in the world. Ever since he was 11, he was taught who his allies and enemies were. For example, their biggest enemy, La Famille, or the French Mafia was trying to get a hold of their operation. Just as he was getting ready to become capo dei capi, his parents gave him an ultimatum to secure that The Sicilian Mafia will always be on top. To make sure that happens, Jackson has to get important intel on La Famille, which just so happens to be Della's step Father's mafia. The only way he can get close to Ron is to go through his new family. Jackson developed a deep resentment for Delilah over the years and had to put up a façade of being friends with Brooks. He was taught to think of Della as collateral damage, but when he gets closer to the broken and battered girl, the mafia prince won't let anyone lay their hands on her. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ psa: this story contains mature content.
