Hallie Roberts is a self-made leading advertiser but despite her polished uptown image Hallie has some unfinished business to take care of first, and must tryst with her rural roots before her new life can flourish. Bound and determined to end a contentious relationship once and for all, Hallie goes back home to the outback to confront her past, it soon becomes clear that the life Hallie has created in the city differs greatly from the life Hallie led in her small country town, and she may have gone gunning for glory but her bullets misfired, discovering along the way that you can take the girl out of the country, but you can never take the country out of the girl. And no matter what, your past will eventually catch up with you.
