As a half white and half Dominican boy the name angel is really common there's nothing special about it. I don't know why my brother named me that it was a stupid idea those expectations are impossible to reach.
but when I meet a boy named sugar I start to wonder did he reach up to his expectations of his name because I sure as hell didn't but with a name as sweet as his he must have unless he's rotten like me.

Octaveus was depressed. He knew it, but no one else did. He hid it, just as he hid his scars. He wasn't human either; he hid that too. He hid almost everything about himself from everyone, in order to minimize the ridicule. His mental state, his thoughts, his scars, even his questionable sexuality. But that only fed into his sadness. Drew was insecure. He didn't like standing up for himself in fear of saying something wrong. He didn't even change in the main locker room for PE, he went in the stalls. He was anxious. He wanted to know what was happening and when so that he can prepare for all possible outcomes of that event. And he was gay; his family knew and supported him, but no one else knew.
