(This takes place 2 years after Kagome decided to stay in the Feudal Era.)
Sakura Morie is seemingly normal.
As normal as it gets helping the Higurashi Family.
She was helping Sota's grandfather clean out the shrine that contained the well she found quite... peculiar... as she decided to put it. Hey, she's just Sota's babysitter most of the time, sometimes helping Ms. Higuashi with chores and such. Like any normal human being, Sakura didn't expect a clawed hand to pull her down a well into the Feudal Era and repeatedly get called "Suki" by strange demons.
And, she definitely didn't expect to want to stay.

I've always fallen for older guys and liked the friends-to-lovers tropes, so this will hit both of those. I've tried to include little Easter eggs and nods to Inuyasha and Yashahime. Scared and mourning her losses. She meets people the kindness they show her is unknown and comforting compared to her very lonely past. Her adventure begins! I finished the story recently and I left a lot of cliff hangers or gaps in her past and a ending that isn't ideal. If I revise, I will fix that and probably change the end.
