With her flaming red hair and emerald green eyes, Charlie seems as if she's a happy girl, but the truth shows when her parents find her hanging from a noose in her room with crimson flowing down her arms. She's immediately admitted into Langley Porter -The same hospital Corri, her cousin was admitted into months before- and tries to fend for herself against voices, shadows, an eating disorder, suicidal thoughts and actions, self-harm, nasty techs and psychiatrists.
