"That person..." She scowled. "Should have burned those journals the moment you got here." 
He believed her to be an Ancient, the only feature he questioned were her eyes. Ancients had unnatural colored eyes, ranging from red to an icy blue. Elana's were brown. Because of that she just looked like a normal human. But she was right, why would a human possess all those journals? Why did she live in the middle of nowhere with an owl, just like how the Ancients had their owl guardians.

With this new position he could release the arm around my waist without allowing me any wriggle room and I felt him reach behind him to grab something. Shit. My breathing picked up and my cries increased in volume. Was he just going to kill me like this? In the middle of nowhere? Trigger Warning: This is a dark romance. It just can't be true" I thought to myself. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Lucero, green eyes and golden hair, average height, light skin, and the nicest person you will ever meet! She can't say 'no' to practically anything. Xander, dark brown hair and green electrifying eyes. He's been through it all. Now living on the street, feeling nothing but hopeless because of bad turn of events even he can't explain.= They meet of course. Lucero thinks its only temporary, but she'll see that she is about to experience the Unexpected. ( Currently going through some editing because I wrote this when I was younger and didn't realize that I wrote some really cliche things. No big changes just some small editing. )
