Death- Agonizing over what must be.

We never grow accustomed
Killing ourselves to live
Grasping at every second he gives.

Even to the very end, clinging
Gasping for breath
We never grow accustomed,
Never accustomed to death

We strive towards the changes
That will prove longer life
Yet gamble in bid our chances
Knowing still that fate will spite

Never once accepting
What we know must always come
We never grow accustomed
To become undone

Like magnet to the universe
Like gravity to the earth

We plunge into its bossom
As a child to mother's breast
To a merciless state of inevitable death

We never grow accustomed
And I cannot not say I will
To see my loved ones go before,
And I to follow behind still

But death is the begining
Its surely not the end
Anubis will wait for me
Life is one thing I must spend

For death is something beautiful
And that we can accept
Inevitable sleep
Long, serene and welcomed
