Captain J. F. Blake of the US Special Forces has been through a hell almost no one else on the planet has experienced. After a lengthy campaign against the Thing and the insane Colonel Whitley, he is the last man standing.

Or so he thought. After the final showdown with Whitley, Blake meets fellow veteran of the Thing R. J. MacReady, sole survivor of Outpost Thirty One. Together, these two men must lead a ragtag band of battered, exhausted survivors against Genetic Incorporated and their army of mercenaries for control of the seventh continent.

Blake isn't sure he has what it takes, but at this point, he's willing to die trying. He must battle the elements, mercenaries, and the living virus known only as the Thing if he's to keep the infection from spreading to the rest of the planet. It's time to put a stop to this once and for all...

It's been five years since the plague struck. Leah knows there are other survivors, but she's avoiding them. She is doing just fine on her own. Surviving after everyone she knew died has made her physically strong and honed her intelligence, but she is emotionally devastated. There is nothing to fear if you don't make yourself emotionally vulnerable. James has spent the last five years helping to build up a colony of survivors. He believes in the small town they have populated and its mission to save humanity from extinction. He and his small team of men find scattered people and bring them in. Over the last two centuries, women have fought for and won more and more rights, gaining equality with men. Society, law, and technology bolsters and enforces these rights, but now they are gone. Women's equality with men is over. There are just too few of them. They aren't lesser but greater, more important, more valuable than men. Men are expendable. Men can stay outside alone if they like, but all women must be brought inside the safety of the Colony and properly taken care of. James has been searching the area Leah lives in. Her time of solitude is up. Leah sparks something in James he's never felt before. He's not letting this one get away, certainly not twice. Warning: Contains sex, some violence, occasional foul language, and adult issues. Genre: Science Fiction, Romance, Post-apocalyptic, Dark romance Length: 84,468 words This book has been published on Amazon. A companion novella to The Shadow Wars and a direct sequel to Dead Ice. When the infection hit Frost Station in the form of a dozen corpses from a wrecked ship, Laura and her crew of isolated misfits didn't know quite how to deal with it. As a result, only she and two others barely escaped the bloody, frozen horror. Certain that they were flying off into the sunrise towards help and hope, they set off in a stolen medical jump ship. But now the terrifying reality of their situation is setting in. It's been twelve hours in the air and they're no closer to safety. They can't raise anyone on the radio and everywhere they fly over is either burning, dead, or overrun with walking corpses. They're running out of power and are soon forced to crash-land in a network of valleys... Mike Ellis is an engineer working at Peaceful Trails, a network of valleys that serves as a serene nature reserve, a place to get away from the world and relax. All that comes crashing to a bloody halt as he wakes up in an infirmary. He knows he's suffered an accident of some kind, but he can't remember what happened. What's worse, he is forced to call on old skills he learned as a soldier to defend himself when something, what appears to be an actual, real zombie, attacks him. The valleys are no longer safe and the only people he can find are a trio that claim they've come from the northern polar regions of Dis. They must work together to fight for survival and somehow find a way off of this hellish planet...

23 parts Ongoing Mature

In a distant future where a handful of far-flung human colonies are lorded over by a bloated, inefficient government, something dark looms just over the galactic horizon. When Sergeant Dalton was dumped in the wastelands of a backwater colony world, he was happy to fade into obscurity. He'd fought for it all. For duty, for honor, for justice, for money. In the end, what did it matter? Now, bitter and broken, he wants to be left alone. But that all changes when he finds himself in the midst of an invasion from not one, but two brutal alien races. With a half-psychotic best friend and a mysterious telepathic assassin riding shotgun, Dalton soon finds himself not just struggling for survival against insurmountable odds, but acting as an uneasy leader to the scattered survivors of the ongoing conflict.
