A cyclone whisks away a little filly named Apple Bloom, and her dog named Winona from Ponyville to over the rainbow and into a land much like Equestria, only more Discorded. With new friends in tow, can they reach the mysterious unicorn, and avoid the evil changeling queen called Queen Chrysails the wicked changeling of the West?
