If you are confused about the meaning of this poem, the following description would be helpful! When writing this poem, like all of my poems, I had no idea where it was going. Gradually it started to turn into describing the different forms of expression mankind and nature use. A lot of people wonder why artist's (writers, painters, etc) are drawn back to nature and put so much animation behind the idea when obviously, nature doesn't talk or communicate by normal human means. Maybe to some people it seems like forcing life into a shoe lace? When you get down to it, mankind and nature have quite a lot in common.

Boy do I sound like a tree hugger.

Can You Remember? (Sequel to Can You Keep A Secret?) de fleetwoodmacca
31 Partes Concluida
"I love you," Johnny murmured, clutching my wrist to the point I could not pull away no matter how much I tried. "Stop it," I snapped, "Stop saying that!" "But I do, I love you, I want you, I need you to remember," He was pleading now. "Stop, quit pretending-" "There is no pretending," Johnny said with absolute clarity. "I love you and I will love you until the day I die. You don't remember now, but you used to love me too Rosey. And I will love you until you love me again, even after I die, and if there is a life after this I will love you then, too." I stared at him as he poured his heart out; he was moving away, for once he wasn't trying to get me to love him. I was doing it myself. "Will you ever give up on this?" I asked. Johnny shrugged, "Someday, I suppose I'll give up, and sit in a rocking chair. But I'll probably be rocking fast, because I don't know what I'll do without you." ----------- Rosemarie Curtis' story has seemed to come to an end. Everything is lost. Nobody can forget. Nothing is the same. Now the gang seems to have to wrestle the past, rebuild on the ruins inside them. But sometimes life has a twisted way of bringing back something you've lost. For Rosemarie's story is just beginning. But there was no way the gang could scrape the earth clean, and keep thinking they could start again. Because even though Rosemarie is alive, her memories of the past are gone. Her mind had left them; she has now gone wild and wary. She remembers no feeling, no hurt, and no loving. Johnny must cope with losing his only love, while her thoughts swim between them, hidden under rocks, disappearing in weeds, and he fishes for them, dangling his own memories like bait and lures. But how can you love someone you don't remember loving? How can you remember something you don't want to remember? And how can the gang hold together when everything has fallen apart?

"If you asked me three months ago what heartbreak was, I would tell you it's losing somebody close to you due to unspeakable circumstances. But right now, in this moment, I would say it's you. I would say it's the feeling I got in my chest when I realized I was out of time. When I stood in the rain and yelled for you to stay, but all I saw was your back. I would say heartbreak is lying in bed at two in the morning, watching my ceiling fan go around and around, wondering why you couldn't stop to listen. Two seconds. All I needed was two seconds to say the words. All I needed was to seconds for me to tell you I was in love with you. With everything about you. With the way you move, and the feeling of your arms around me. With the feeling of your chest vibrating as you laugh. Heartbreak is falling in love with everything about you, but having the words permanently stuck in my throat." _____ Gracelyn Levinsky grew up with Daniel Grey. She has always looked to him as a brother, but when she escapes from her abusive Mom and moves to the same town Danny moved to when he was ten, she finds out that he's in love with her. After countless attempts to get her to feel the same, Danny gives up. But when Grace realizes just how much she does love Danny, words can't help her because he shut her out of his life completely. How do you tell somebody who you can't talk to that you're in love with them? Simple. You force them to listen. WARNING: THIS STORY INCLUDES THE VERY ATTRACTIVE DANIEL GREY WHO REMINDS ME AND EVERYONE WITH OVARIES OF A SOFT GOLDEN RETRIEVER PUPPY THAT IS SLEEPING ON YOUR CHEST SO PLEASE BEWARE THAT YOUR OVARIES WILL EXPLODE WHILE READING THIS STORY! AN: please don't steal this story. I'm working/have worked really hard to create this and develop the characters and story line. This is solely made up out of my mind. The cover was made by @nerdfpiper and I highly recommend her!

Book One of Five in the New Beginnings Series. **You do NOT have to read Inhale, Exhale, & Breathe to enjoy these stories** #1 in bxb tag: 09/21/2024 #4 in friendstolovers tag: 9/21/2024 CYRUS PIERCE: I'm content in my almost soundless world. I prefer to live through the romance stories I weave and post online. Hardly anyone reads my books, even if they're free, but I do have one fan, and he's supported me since I started writing two years ago. Except, my writing started to take a depressing dive when I realized that you simply couldn't prevent nor protect your heart from falling for someone. For him. For the one who had no interest in me. When I fell in love with him, I thought we had a chance. It was an accident. Turned out, I couldn't be more wrong. He doesn't want me, and I wasn't supposed to have him. It didn't matter if he showed up in the bookstore every day, talking to everyone else except me. Nor did it matter at all because he didn't know sign language. He couldn't learn. We couldn't communicate. But after I go on a date and it ends in putrid disaster, he makes his appearance known, and he's angry. Then he's doing things for me that confuse me. My stories are filling up with pages of content, dreams that I want to come true, and my mystery commenter encourages me to continue-to reach my happiness. To take what I want. But the activities planned start sparking familiarity-like I lived it before, or maybe dreamed it. Or maybe, just maybe, I'd written it before? My mind is spiraling, but I can't stop myself from getting closer and closer to him. I'm not supposed to have him, but my heart craves him. Sage Monroe, I'm in love with you, and I'm scared now because I have a feeling that you've been communicating with me in more ways than one.
THE RIVER-KEEPERS, A MAN AND A WOMAN WHO CAUGHT ON FIRE de lancemk

A novella describes a possible transcendental life of spiritual ecology in the tradition of Paulo Coelho's The Alchemist and Hermann Hesse's Siddhartha. A man and a woman do no more than find each other and set out to contrive a life together. But in this process, they come to live by an obscure river, and gradually open a luminous gateway into the very best of life. The natural events occurring in season after season and graceful provocations from the Old Boss, a river-keeper, kindle an awakening. The central protagonists-He and She-are presented without detailed characterization. Because of who they ultimately are, just as you and I, she and he might have a thousand true names--something akin to names such as "Bright Water" (Chosin*) or "Cloud Gate" (Yun Men**) or "True Emptiness" (Chan Kong***) or "Clear Mirror" (Kyong Ho****). Our view is so very small. Ordinary reality is an expression of a very real, extraordinary super-reality. Our true home is to be found in the landscape that designs us. *Japanese **Chinese ***Vietnamese ****Korean In a time of possible coming ecocide, The River Keepers is a novella that explores the grace that persists in wildness both within and without. Lance Kinseth has published creative nonfiction essays in literary magazines, and a book-length collection of essays. For "Homing," The North American Review, 272(4), Dec, 1987, pp. 10-19, Editor Robley Wilson wrote, "...a long and keenly observed essay on Nature, by Lance Kinseth. It has been a while since we were fortunate enough to print so sensitive a praise of River, of Earth, of Sun." For River Eternal: The Wonder of Common and Ashen Days Alongside a Prairie River. New York: Viking, 1989, Barry Lopez wrote, "In River Eternal, Lance Kinseth has built an elegant bridge between nature and culture. His vision is liberating, his ideas fresh, his language clean and beautiful. This is wondrous, invigorating, and humane work."

"No... your not" ⚠ New writer here! ⚠ [Started: November 3, 2024] [Ends on: Will see'] Small note and big at the same time... ⛇☃ First off, this makes me really, really excited! 😍 My first published story, but it's not the first one I've done. The first one I dare say I consider the jewel in my crown of stories is my "OUTERBANKS SEASON 4" Yep! And don't worry, it has nothing to do with the treasure that ultimately led to JJ's death. This treasure for my own season is one I'm creating from scratch, since I'm basing it on historical factors. The beginning will be the same as the beginning of the 4th season but I'll change everything in the first chapter. Spoiler, Kie won't even be JJ's girlfriend anymore, Jade, my main character girl, was a big blow to him. That's what hurts me... but hey, JJ won't die. We can't have everything in life. Why am I saying all this? "Loving u with a Dove's heart" is a story to promote my 4th season of OBX, which I plan to publish when I finish this one. Anyway, I talked a bit about this in the introduction of this little story. I really hope you enjoy this and feel the story as if you were Belle. Enjoy and stay safe. ♡ 𝐋𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝒮𝑒𝒶𝐿𝑜𝓋𝑒 ®
