Jackie Truman is a vampire. Well she wasn't always but she was chosen at birth by the supernatural council to be turned at the age of 16 to become there leader and win the war for all supernatural beings. To bring peace to there world. With the help of her partners her best friend who turned out to be her protector as he is also a werewolf chosen by the fates to take this role, and her mate a pure blood vampire by birth with the other half of her necklace. Will she be able to save her new world along with her old one or will she fail and perish into the darkness of her enemies the daemons.( I know what you are thinking aren't daemons and vampires usually on the same evil side... Well this book is a little different )almost all vampires are trying to change for the better because of there last queens wish to live peacefully with everyone, but she was assassinated by a group of vampires who were teamed with the daemons. But not before she could place her blood and the soul of her unborn baby into the body of the baby of another family, named the trumans.

Those who were lucky enough to live through that, we're to be slaughtered for their blood at age twenty-five in an act to make sure that our population would stay steady. I was born into this world.
