Why do so many people on this planet believe in a divine being? Is it logical to believe in one? There are so many claims by so many religions, so which is real and logical? Religious sects cannot even agree amongst themselves on doctrines, how can there be a One true divine being then? Why do Christians believe this? Can 'evolution' and 'God' co-exist? This book uses logic and modern day examples to explain the numerous questions that may flood atheists, agnostics and Christians alike. The first section deals with the logic of a divine being, the second deals with specific issues in Christianity, and the third section contains some of the personal psalms and reflections on things that a Christian might face and struggle. Each section contains a collection of articles, some academic, some reflective, and some argumentative. 

As society progresses in the direction of science and technology, logic and scientific validation plays an increasing role in everyday thought processes. In the scientific and logical world, religion, faith, and beliefs get continuously challenged. Many once-faithful Christians may begin to question their Christian beliefs, or get confused on the validity of the numerous doctrines and teachings of various Christian sects. Similarly, the agnostic is thrown into confusion amongst the claims of many religions and their sects on the 'Truth'. On the other end of the spectrum, the hard-core atheist begins to question the intelligence of more than 50 % of the world population that believe in some sort of divine being(s). Why do so many people on this planet believe in a divine being? Is it even sensible to believe in one? With increasing progression in human knowledge of the natural world around, there seems little reason to believe in a divine being. With this, the pressure increases on both the agnostic and Christian to abandon their search for the answer. Yet on the other front, the Christian also begins to face the rise of old enemies that once plagued Christian orthodoxy. Similar to its predecessor, this book and its compilation of themed articles addresses the issues in the logic, philosophy and thoughts of Christianity from a layperson point of view. Some of these articles serve to expand and clarify the points raised in its predecessor, and some on completely new topics. Yet unlike the predecessor, this book focuses more on the doctrine and basis of Orthodox Christian beliefs and how Christians can apply them to everyday life through articles that are once again, academic, reflective, and argumentative. Just like 'A Practical Guide to the Logic, Philosophy, and Thoughts of Christianity', this book is the result of a single individual's search for God. It promises to be challenging and thought provoking for the genuinely open-minded and interested. Even so, the articles are at best 'arm-chair theology' and are therefore meant to be easily understood by any interested agnostic and Christian with a slow yet provocative push into the basis of Christianity and her doctrines.

Hello!!! You might be coming from my previous Daily Bible Reading and Prayer, or you might be new. Either way, welcome! If you are wondering whether you should read the first one first, I would say, you can if you want, but you really don't have to. So what is this book exactly? The title is pretty self explanatory, but I will explain more. I started this because I used to neglect my devotions, always making excuses. By doing this I am keeping myself accountable, I say I will do a chapter a day, so if I don't, I will be lying. How I do this is first I copy and paste a chapter from the Bible(I'm currently in Hebrews and Psalms), then as I read it, I make notes, and then I pray. I hope you will be blessed by this book! Btw, I'm using ESV for this one, I used KJV for the last one. I want to try ESV because lots of people, including my crush, say it is more accurate. I do try to update this every day, but I go to Bible study on Thursdays and every other Sunday, and I often don't get home till rather late, so I don't always do this those days.

Each chapter in this book possesses a small fraction about his life, which leads to one question...what kind of person he is?. Why is "Talking Serenity" worth reading? 1. Ins and outs of the Modern World's Atmosphere The male character/figure that is told in this writing has a lifestyle background that likes to be alone (Introvert), who loves to observe human relations and tends to be traditional in establishing closeness with other people in his modern world. However, as time progressed, what he had inside of him slowly became worry and indecision in the eyes of many people. The increasing inner confusion of his generation that surrounds his steps in the modern world, of course, is not something that is easily ignored by him as a human being who still acquires traditional values in his soul. 2. Nurturing Culture This writing attaches various possibilities and probabilities to an event in the future when the generation of humans who reign/control today's world do not have good competence, cognition and emotional stability in setting boundaries, respecting and appreciating. The presence of traumatic personal experiences and several clauses related to culture that have been passed down from previous generations, of course, can support the importance of discussing this theme.

There is an unexpected turn in the story that drastically changes the course of events and, in the long run, even the lives of those involved. Magpie, the first to be involved, suddenly finds himself in the world so unlike his own. Will he find his place there or will he be at least able to go back home? He seems to find his way back from this new world of giga-dimensions but something unwanted happens, and things go worse. The cultural differences, together with a challenging personality traits of another involved in the events, suck Magpie and his friends into a downward spiral. The story challenges you to see the world differently from the perspective you are perhaps too used to and narrowed by. Life can be an adventure if you don't narrow it with a bigotry that forces you to be rooted in your trenches and behind your dividing walls. This doesn't mean you have to accept others' views without standing your ground. However, to be able to share our lives in this one and only world we need to make compromises, on both sides. Are you the first brave one to set this positive trend in motion? So read on and let the foundation of the story be laid. From the end of episode 1 on, the story really picks up, finally reaching its climax at the end of episode 3 with quite a surprising finish. Your participation in solving this shared challenge of coexistence and cooperation is highly appreciated. Remember those who cooperate make more progress than those who don't! The ideal audience for my first book is actually between 12 and 16, but anybody older and interested in adventures, cultures and in getting more understanding into our multifaceted world is sure to enjoy the story. (The whole story has now been published, the only thing I'll still add is the final epilogue but the story is already available in its entirety.)
