"And who are you, really?" He asked me, looking up at me with his cold calculating, unfeeling eyes, as blood dribbled down the side of his mouth. "You're no one, a nobody."

I stood tall with confidence flowing through my veins and returned his look, my expression unwavering. "I am Corvelaine Imira Amatori, the queen of the Faeries, ruler of the Faery kingdom. I assure you, one thing I am not, is a nobody." The last thing he saw was the flash of my sword before I embedded it in his chest.

-----------

Cora, an ordinary, teenage girl living in the ordinary state of Oregon, discovers she's of royal Faery blood. The very last of the famous Amatori line, she is swept into a world of danger, magic, and love. She realizes that her destiny lies in a different world, the world of Mytheria, and she sets off on a daring and perilous journey to retake the Faery throne and claim her birthright to rid the world of evil ... for good.

Amantha is not ready to be anything other than a wild, tomboy princess, but when tragedy strikes this unlikely royal is called upon to rule a kingdom. Scared to grow up, she runs away from responsibility and finds a new world in an adventure to find out who she really is inside. While Amantha is no princess in distress, she has much to learn about the world of magic and mystery and along with the help of a beautiful boy with a secret past, she uncovers the fairy tale world that lives right outside of her kingdom. "When I was little, I didn't believe that there was magic. I had been taught that no elves, witches, leprechauns, unicorns, harpies, trolls or dragons had ever existed. No one could turn into anything else and everything happened for a reason. Now that I'm older, I realize that even if a tutor told me those things, you can't believe everything people say. I happen to know that magic exists because I have seen it with my own eyes. If you believe that dreams come true, they will. And fairy tales aren't only in story books."
