Call Me Devil {L.S.}

The New York City sky has been a murky color for what felt like years. It was the later 1920s and the country underwent a depression greater than many have ever heard or seen before. On the streets of NYC, there have been faint rumors circulating, catching every ear. One that made many fearful for their future, as even then it was unknown; but in the city it was theirs, and theirs alone, to create. No one was sure if it was another case of falsified titles like the 'underground railroad' or if it was actually a motorized form of transportation. But, from east to west there has been transport of orphans, and not just the ones within a system; but, ones upon the streets and with disabled families. It was the devastating truth, as many lost friends or family members within the night or early mornings.
