I am Cora Owens. 16. Lives in a dump I call home in sunny California. Moms a drunk. Dad... Well, who the hell knows where that dick is at.

As you can tell by just that my life is complete shit. The only thing that keeps me happy is my best friend, Ethan and a few Jell-O shots here and there.

You may be asking. Do you have family you can stay with because your mom is so messed up? And my answer is no. The only family I got other than my mom is my older brother, Damien but he is off at college, living his life with no care in the world about his little sister and his drunk mother.

Honestly, I can't wait to graduate so I can move out and away from my mother. I think I would move somewhere cold unlike California.

The day I graduate, I'm packing my bag with the little belongings I do have and taking the bus someplace far away from this place.

I don't care where. Just away.

And I'm not going to look back.
