Our parents made their final choice, we're leaving to California, Los Angeles in a week. I'm going to leave all my friends here in Texas and never see them again, probably. Everything is crazy right now but I won't let my emotions show.

I grabbed my phone and headed down the stairs. We're actually leaving, all the memories from being born to now. Tyler and I were raised in this house, I actually never thought of us leaving until college.

"BRAAANNDDYY!!"Someone called from the kitchen, making me snap back into reality.

I slow jogged into the kitchen where I found Tyler trying to make homemade cookies, but not in a good way, the kitchen counters where either covered with dough or melted chocolate chips and he was wearing the apron I got for mom on her Birthday. I stood at the entrance of the kitchen examining the mess he made, and then him.

"Tyler, what happened."I said, looking at his half flour-covered face.

"Um"He licked his lips and continued."Well, the oven and microwave was on and I was stirring eggs with one hand and the other hand was making the cookie dough but," Tyler paused and took 2 cookies from behind him, handed me one and ate the other cookie. "They're delicious, here try one."He said still holding out the cookie. I accepted it and bit a tiny piece into the cookie. But before I could say anything Tyler took the flour and poured it on the top of my head. We might just have our fun till' it lasts. I then shook a little of the flour off me and poured the melted chocolate chips inside of his shirt. We both took a few eggs and splattered them on each other. We laughed and almost cried cause of the laughter, but before anything got worse our mother walked in holding a bunch of groceries staring at the both of us.
