Hermione grew up as the perfect normal child. Expect for by age five her parents knew she was not normal. Unless levitating objects, making things happen with a single thought, or performing tricks no other child her age could was considered normal. They knew that no matter what she was their daughter, a blessing from the angels. Expect Hermione was everything, but that. In fact, some might even say she was conceived by the Devil himself, depending on who you ask.
