Kenna Choi is impossibly excited for school to end. Her final year of high school has just started, sure, but that doesn't make her any less excited to get her diploma and take her promised gap year before college starts to travel the world. Jimin and Taehyung, her two best friends, are just as ready for adulthood as she is. They walk in on the first day and they feel like they're on top of the world. Nothing can faze them, at least until the door opens during English and a second-year comes in, looking distant and tired and sitting alone at the back of the class. His name is Jungkook, and he intrigues Kenna to no end.

The more she sees, the more Kenna is interested. Head down all the time, hands always jammed into his pockets, uniform blazer on no matter how hot it is-- Jungkook is proving to be quite the difficult mystery to solve. But Kenna is determined to figure out what makes the quiet kid tick, no matter what.

In trying to uncover his secrets, though, Kenna ends up involved in something far more earth-shattering than she ever could have expected. Needless to say, things get a little heated, and it'll be her job to travel across the globe to keep Jungkook from destroying himself.
