Turning On the Lights

Life and reality are two different obstacles to Laurel. She believes in the things people can't see. She believes that life is always worth living. But she also believes that reality is stopping her from doing just that.
Every day, Laurel questions her existence. Why is she always on the wrong side of the bed? As brilliant as her mind and words are, she is always the second choice, plan B, the lurking shadow of her twin sister. No one understands her. Laurel is still running out of time, even if all the clocks in the world stop ticking.
In a beautiful trip to London, Laurel finds something not even her sister can steal. Eric makes her heart stop, and she thinks she's dreaming. After years of having that lump of pain stuck in her throat, Laurel is expecting another failure. But the charming Eric smudges the line of black and white, intertwining the aspects of life and reality. Is time going to wait for Laurel?
