A fresh start is just what Aspen needs. 

Her father was put behind bars. She and her sister Carter are finally safe. They move far away from their old home to a new city. A city where illegal street racing is an after school sport. Where parents don't care what their kids do and are never home. A city where hot, dangerous guys are the only type.

Aspen and Carter meet grandparents they never knew they had and learn more about their past and what exactly happened to their mother.

The plan is simple. Stay away from the bad influences of their past. Focus on school. Stay away from the guys that live this dangerous lifestyle. But, if there is one thing that Aspen has learned, it's that plans almost never work out.
