Girolamo Riario doesn't really have any aspirations. Anything he's ever wanted to be, he's brushed it off, always having been told to do something realistic with his life. He follows the rules; a by the book player. So when a mysterious man so different from him shows up at the library he works at one day, Girolamo is perplexed. How can a man live his life so carefree and fearless? 
  However, as time goes by, he realizes: maybe they aren't so different after all? Or maybe this man by the name of Leonardo just happens to bring the good out of Girolamo's pessimism? Whatever it is, Girolamo has a bad feeling about him, but somehow he just can't stay away.
