The homicide detective James Carson. A peculiar young man with a knack for solving all sorts of mysteries. The detective has gone through more than any twenty-eight year old should. With his cunning and logic, and his way of thinking from the perspective of the killer and suspects, he sent himself flying into the world of the homicide unit of Danivero, California. With fellow detectives Lyam Nadine and Stephanie Calsona, James tackles his next case; the serial killer known only as El Villano, which means "The Villain" in Spanish. The reason for his name is that he kidnapped, raped, and murdered five Hispanic women that were all trapped in the sex trade. With almost no leads and El Villano's merciless bullets always tracking him, Detective Carson must think the way El Villano would.
