Evie Keller didn’t have much to worry about before. Her best friend's birthday party to plan, some odd jobs to help her mother pay the bills, her little sister having a crush on her ex-boyfriend. It may be a load for anyone else but not her. Evie has always been the tough one; the fighter. Constantly fighting for anything she thought was worth having or protecting. But now she finds herself fighting the only battle she's not sure she can win. The fight for her life. After being diagnosed with Cancer, Evie keeps the news of her illness quiet from everyone around her and gets tangled in a web of lies and secrets that gets harder and harder to escape from. But then a handsome stranger enters her life and brings with him a sense of comfort and an urge to suddenly come clean. But how can she be expected to give up the escape she's been desperately searching for before his arrival? Cancer is relentless. It doesn't care how old you are or about your future plans. It doesn't care that you have family and friends who will suffer as you do when it comes into your life. It hits you hard and fast when you are the least prepared and all you have left are the people who love you. The ones that will be there to pull you out of its crashing waves.

#908 in Teen Fiction '9/12/2016' #788 in Teen Fiction '18/1/2017' Life could be really tough. It could be sunshine-y and peachy but just like that, it turns upside down and everything falls apart like an avalanche. This is exactly what happened to Alexa Gray. Alexa was the school's sunshine, everyone loved her. Until she was diagnosed with stage 4 Leukemia, and her life went down the hill. She made a promise to herself to make the last 6 weeks of her life unforgettable. So, she makes a deal with the devil- school's badboy- himself; Noah Black. But, as all stories, the Matchmaker has to interfere. A Cancer Diagnosed Girl. A Badboy. And A Bet That Changes Their Lives. ------------------- Started: 14th of May 2016 Completed: 13th of September 2016 ------------------- Cover made by the amazing @Jenikel098 ------------------- DISCLAIMER!! This novel was literally written in 4 months when I was at the age of 14 trying to overcome my obsession with the fault in our stars (yes, I used to read the book at a bare minimum of 3 times per week, if not once daily). I decided to write my own version of it and as you can see, it turned out like this. If you choose to read it and find it silly that is because it's written by a 14-year old. So, please don't write hate comments or anything. Thank you all, have a nice time reading it!
