N'ijah Ellison is the perfect wife. A hard working, god fearing, and loving person anyone could ask for. But, she constantly think she's not enough. Her dark thoughts continue to haunt her. So, N'ijah vows to be kind to everyone, and to try and be there whenever someone needs her.
She finds a girl, battered and bruised, and took her to her home and welcomed her with open arms. Her husband, a influential man and business owner, did as well. N'ijah took care of her, offered her a job opportunity, and became real friends with her. All the while, though, her close friends and family were suspicious.
But when she finds out what had been going on in her own home, behind her back, it crushes her.
