My name is Catastrophe Nightshade, I'm a young girl whose father is Hades and my mother was a mortal. My mother died in childbirth, thus the name Catastrophe; given too me by my father. My father.... he isn't so bad once you get to know him; you just have to get past the 'Ruler of the Underworld' facade. He's a really good guy. And no I didn't get my name because I wasn't meant too be born; I got the name because my father is just really bad at naming things. *laughs* And my stepmother; Persephone is a beautiful goddess: literally. We only get too see her two or three months of the year. Due too her mother, who didn't even want her too see my father at all. But it keeps Earth's balance equal; As equal as it can get at least.

We all know the story of how Hades's kidnapped Persephone from her mother and his sister Demeter, brought her to the Underworld and tricked her by eating a Pomegranate that forces her to spend half the year in the Underworld with him. While Persephone may have been reluctant to be with the King of The Underworld at first, she slowly grew to love it and her husband. Hades being the most hated God received a curse from Persephone father, Zeus, that any child Hades and Persephone had together would destroy the world as we know it. Neglecting to tell his young wife this Persephone becomes pregnant. Excited to tell her husband about the news when she gets back to the underworld, her mother let's her know of the curse that Zeus has put on the child. Demeter urges her to be rid of the child, but Persephone, Goddess of Fertility denies the request and hides her pregnancy from all. Once Persephone has the child Zeus and Hades find out, so she asks Athena and Aphrodite for protection of the beautiful little girl.
