For as long as you could remember, you had been alone for your whole life, staring at stars in the dead of night to try and feel at least a little closer to home. There was another person on this planet that was also alone and in almost the same situation as you, but that was different, this was different. You had been sent to Earth to protect him from the shadows, and you didn't plan on getting involved with him by any means.
