Once school is over, Michael Zlataroff finds himself in an apartment too big for him to live in alone. He settles for putting one of his bedroom for rent, so he could have at least someone to talk to, even if that someone is a serial killer. He is surprised to see that it's not a psychopath looking for their next prey, but a walking zombie that poses as Jacques Beaumont. He lets him in and tries to pretend like he doesn't recognize him, so that he could finally be friends with the man that he had a schoolgirl crush on.
Shitty at best is a story about all the ups and downs in life. About how at one point you have everything and the next - you have nothing. It's about how at the end - everything comes together and sorts itself out. In most cases at least.

A Modern Wangxian Short Story Lan Wangji needs to prove to his best friend Xue Yang that he is gay to stop him from setting him up with his sister A'Qing. "Ah, here you are," he says and turning to Xue Yang introduces him, "That's my boyfriend," he says. Wei Wuxian's raised brow is met with a cold stare daring him to refute. He smiles widely in response and answers, "I'm Wei Wuxian, from Chemical Engineering," he says. "Xue Yang from Electrical, same as Lan Wangji," he states. The name Lan Wangji makes Wei Wuxian take a second look. Why you ask? Because the Lans own the campus and now Wei Wuxian just kissed the campus Prince. Xue Yang excuses himself, wondering hiw he didn't see that coming. Lan Wangji turns to Wei Wuxian and drags him by the sleeve. "Hey," Wei Wuxian objects. "You approached me," Lan Wangji pointed out. "I needed to turn down a girl for the college dance," Wei Wuxian explained. "Can you dance?" Lan Wangji asked coldly. "Some, yeah. Who can't?" Wei Wuxian exclaimed. Lan Wangji nodded. "Good. Rest I'll teach you, boyfriend. I need you to keep pretending to keep my best friend from sicking his sister on me. Deal?"Complete

Eynal is a highborn boy who has whatever he could need to be happy but his outlook on life plagues him at every turn, obsessed by the notion that existence is entirely pointless living in his own world void of anything remotely positive he turns a blind eye to anything that is expected of him, but forces beyond him thrust an entirely new situation upon him that he fails to navigate with his usual indifference will he adapt and change as expected? or will he find a way to cast it aside as he always has. This story is based around medieval fantasy with some inspiration from the classics (Lotr, GOT) it will navigate the personal lives of two characters who are polar opposites and an increasingly fragile political situation in the world they live in *this is my first time ever writing something so if i suck please dont bully me XD*Complete

If you have read the book, expect this one to be as much fun if not more. Yes, things are going to get a bit intense because in Wei Wuxian's words Lan Wangji is the most intense person he knows.
