Braxton never thought that life would be as hard as it was at 16. With a brother who's in a coma and increasingly homophobic parents, it's all he can do to keep himself from going over the edge. But things really start getting twisted when his English Literature teacher assigns a tutor to him. Normally, that wouldn't be a life-altering dilemma, but when he notices that the nerdy girl who has been assigned to him is teaching him much more than what's in the books, it changes everything he's ever thought about himself. But maybe that's okay. Warning: boyxboy, deals with accepting gayness with religion and stuff. Bad parents, etc.

Jesse's life turns upside down once the football player from his school finds out he's gay. Because of that he has to obey to jock's every command or else his secret will be revealed to everyone. Jesse already had a hard enough life because of his alcoholic father and insensitive mother and this made things even more complicated. Not to mention the fact that he was living in a pretty homophobic environment and for his own safety he had to hide his true identity. Will Jesse be able to overcome this challenge? You'll have to read more to find out. *DISCLAIMER - Story contains themes that some readers may consider disturbing such as suicide, homophobia, violence and more. If you're easily triggered by the things mentioned above this content may not be right for you. Ps. This is a first draft of the book. You can find the polished version of this story here by a different title (Melancholic.) It is also uploaded on DREAME and Inkitt. I'd recommend checking that out because it has less errors, a few changes and some added scenes.
