"It's said that your reflection in the mirror is actually someone on the other side in a parallel universe making sure you don't cross into their world. But the thing about the legend that I don't understand is the fact that it also says that they are trying to stop you from crossing to somewhere worse than you started. Although I'm not sure it could get worse, so I'm led to believe that we are the reflection."

Karissa Williams has been living in a nightmare. When she wakes from a two year coma, her whole world changes. Alex, her best friend, tells her about a legend he heard. She tests the legend and finds that mirrors aren't as they seem. 

Karissa finds herself in a whole different world. Everything that had been destroyed in her old world has been restored. 

Will she find her way out of this new place?

Have you ever wondered if you were meant to be something greater than what you ended up becoming but, life had other plans for you? There are also those that blame fate or a higher existence then them for their problems and mistakes never truly taking accountability. This is the stories of several young adults, who by some interesting and what could be seen as cruel or traumatic events come together to fight fate and grow into the people they wish to become. Each has a past that was unfair, cruel, demeaning, or tragic. The defining trait they all share though, they may not realize it themselves is despite it all, they haven't given in. They found through meeting eachother the strength to fight on despite being subjected to some of the worst things that can happen to people. When a young man from our world dies doing something his ideal self would have done, he reflects on his life moments before leaving this world. Finding it Ironic that dying was the catalyst to him realizing he had lived his life all wrong. Surprisingly though he found himself in a place that was unrecognizable. He could never have imagined that this was only the start of what he now sees as a second chance. A chance to keep a promise he made to someone dear, and a new promise to himself that he would become what that person needed most back then, A Hero.

Never in my life did I ever think I'd be reincarnated. As far as I'm aware, being able to reincarnate means being good in your previous life, and being given a chance to restart your life anew.
