               The  morning's summer sun was powerless to overcome the chill of the stone against his back. Compass in right hand , print out of instructions in left, fifteen year old Daniel Evans prepared himself. He was unaware that he was to be the first person in approximately 2000 years, to step out every pace written on the print out. He was the latest in a long line of Evans's to seek to update the combination of instructions listed. He was determined to honour the promise he gave to his late Grandfather, to keep the land marks referenced in the lists up to date. The instructions read like a treasure map, a fact not lost on his younger brother and their friend Amanda Pryer as they teased him. They couldn't be aware of the sites history, or the secret behind the instructions. It was there, as a Roman Legion closed in, that druid leaders along with a hundred or so family members, servants and followers had seemingly disappeared. With his back against the northern-most of the twin standing stones, Daniel was about to walk out the "combination"that would open a door to a land not even history had heard of. Soon the Evans brothers would find themselves integral parts of a war between elves, goblins, giants, and a mentally imbalanced sorceress. Soon their lives would be changed in ways they could never have dreamed of...All Rights Reserved

This is an original story of my own creation with my own original characters. Before I started publishing my story on Wattpad I've had several people read it and they've told me it was good and they enjoyed reading it and I hope you all enjoy it as well. I've always been told I have a very active and creative imagination and I should use that i it a like and follow for more chapters to come. Please feel free to point out any grammatical errors you find that I may have missed as I'm constantly editing the story to make it better. *If any names in my story are that of real world people it's completely coincidental, I use a random name generator, which creates countless names, to help with the naming of some of my characters.

Waller kneeled down with his arms extended, offering Allen his fathers cloak. "But... Uncle Waller. What-" I started crying, but kept a brave face. "I understand Uncle *Sniff* I will be brave for the family and Mom." I took the cloak from his hands, and something clicked inside my head. A voice came through to my head, more a whisper than a normal voice. Uncle Waller stood up and walked away. I embraced the cloak, my tears falling on it, as I remembered my fathers scent. "I don't know what happened... But I promise you this Father, I will find the person who did this to you, and make it pay for taking you away from our family". I swore with anger burning in my heart. "I must grow strong, just like Father, Uncle and Grandpa... I will become The strongest Warrior there ever was, you will see Father..." I walked back inside the house. "Allen... You have promise..." Said the whisper, "I will help you grow strong, and get Revenge..." Said the voice with sadness, "You are a very special Kid".

The Elder Druid's greed knew no bounds, and he sought the Goddess's book, whispering more falsehoods about the witches. Fear gripped the land, and countless innocent men and women were burned at the stake until the witch hunts finally ceased in the late 17th century. The two High Strega, the last of their kind, devised a plan to protect their magic and revive the Witchline. The Goddess revealed a prophecy: when a daughter of Dark and a son of Light possessed the book, the Witchline would be restored. They separated, hiding their true power and passing the book from one High Strega to another across generations. Until now...

"Elves of the Northern Vale" A Tundrawolf Story by TRWright1

As happened many times in the past the Fell Ice once again charged down from the north and attacked the world in its effort to turn it into a frozen ball of ice. Only the White Magic and it's ally the Sun could stand against such a vast enemy. From their home in the Valley of the Sun the great tribe of Elves could only watch as the monumental fight unfolded. As the battle intensified and the valley became threatened the tribe separated back into their four original tribes and each made their way back to their ancestral homes. Within their Vales, behind thick stone walls and under powerful domes of magic, they were protected from the onslaught upon the earth. The Elves watched for thousands upon thousands of turns as the war raged overhead. The Fell Ice against the Sun and the White Magic were locked in a struggle lasting for an age, with neither side claiming victory as the earth was ravaged. In time the Fell Ice retreated, as it had so many times in the past. Beaten, yet not defeated, only biding it's time for the next attack. It returned to its frozen Kingdom at the Top of the World, thus ending this last Age of Ice. This time, as the earth warmed around them, the Elves remained secluded from the world in their hidden Vales. They observed from afar life returning to the lands and took stock of man becoming the dominant ones as their numbers grew and spread. As the Elves watched they felt safe and secure in their Vale strongholds. They had no idea of the danger that was about to befall them. This is a stand-alone sequel to my story "Druids Bane".

To her, the city speaks in a different tongue, one that does not follow the illusion surrounding it. People do not live together; they merely exist parallel to the other person. She has lived her life hiding from the eyes of society, alone in a house of nobility. Years passed in her life, years full of shame, grief, and loneliness. Losing her home, her status as a noble, and the family name, she ventures out and discovers more than she ever knew about the city. Here is where the story begins.
