"I stare up at the moon every night and wonder, 'How the fuck did I manage to fall in love with someone who is an ocean apart?'." Jake is a 19 year old kid who has been alone for the majority of his life. Struggling with social anxiety, depression, and ADD, he pushes through life by being in his room, ignoring the world and binge watching anime. Jake never thought he'd find "the one", until one day, he meets a strange weirdo named Kaitlinn. After talking to her for a long time, Jake realizes that he has fallen in love with an angel. Follow Jake and Kaitlinn on their journey of a long distance relationship. ~Loosely based off of my actual long distance relationship with my fiancee named Kaitlinn.~ Enjoy!

Jacob has never been a happy child; he's never had a reason to be. He tries to take the good with the bad, but it's not that easy. Then his life starts to look up. His dad is back and demanding custody. He'll be away from his manipulative mother. But... Will that really change anything? Jacob isn't missing a big house to call home, or a parent to be his guardian. What he's missing, what he needs, is someone to hold him close. His dad tries to show affection, but Jacob has lived so long without it he doesn't know how to accept it. Then he meets Ryan, the rich kid who, for some reason, sees Jacob in an entirely different light than anyone ever has. But does Jacob see him in a different light? He isn't so sure.
