Mariana Trenchys-Rosalins was born on July 1st, 2002 in her birth mother's beach house in Mexico.

5 minutes after her birth, her mother supposedly died.

She was immediately put into adoption by her father.

14 years later, she was adopted by a nice lady and her second husband.

So she was always awake late at night, wondering why her father put her up for adoption.

'Because he couldn't keep me? Or simply because he didn't want me?'

She never really knew.

Finally, her questions were answered.
Except they're nothing like the answers she expected.

She's a demigod. Half immortal, half mortal. Doesn't sound difficult, you say? How funny.

Her father is Neptune. I know, it sounds odd, impossible, even. But, hey, its 2016, and as far as she knows, if hologram projections are real, anything can be real, really.

She has a half brother. Well, technically its her half brother on her fathers other aspect, aka Greek version, but she's going to go with half brother.

Her mother is alive, looking for her. After 14, long, agonizingly slow years, she finally starts looking. But Mariana doesn't know what to do if she does find her.

But to be honest, all Mariana wanted was a normal life.

She didn't get one.

Obviously.
