Marilyn Jones was a young girl with cancer whose parents decided she'd spend her final 6 months getting better in the hospital. There, she finds a comatose patient who was an old classmate of hers. She talks to him for the better part of those 6 months, believing he can hear her, and they might be able to reconcile after hard times hit them both. She doesn't know if either of them will get better, but what she does know is that he'll always be there.
