Prince Atem Malik was just a simple child at the time, wanting nothing to do with becoming Pharaoh, as he wanders off from the palace. He was merely wandering around one day when he finds a boy who looks almost identical to him, with minor differences, but the big one that separated that was him from most Egyptians was his pale white skin. Atem and his childhood friend, Mana, wish to get to know the boy who goes by the name of Yugi Mashe. But what happens when Yugi is assigned to work as a slave for the Pharaoh-to-be? Can Atem break down the wall separating him from the one he truly wishes to be with, or will he be too late to fix one small, but fatal mistake?
